Both sides aimed digs at each other after the final whistle, with claims of diving, play-acting and harassing the referee flying around before John Stones branded Colombia the “dirtiest team ever”.

Argentina legend Diego Maradona even got involved, branding England’s win a “monumental robbery”.
But he received a stern warning from FIFA for his comments, with the governing body adamant that all decisions in the game were correct.
A statement noted: “[FIFA] considers the comments and insinuations made as being entirely inappropriate and completely unfounded.”
